Gulistan - the Rose Garden. In Mughal era and sufi poetry, gul (rose) is one of the central emblem. Every rose represents the glory of God, and every rose is perfect in its own sense. . Our inspiration for this piece is ‘Gulestan’ by Saadi. Saadi, most well-known immortal Persian poets and humanitarians, he considers all humans as different parts of a whole body, regardless of social barriers and race. His masterpiece Gulistan is a collection of poems and stories, just as a rose-garden is a collection of roses.

Every personality type that exists is found in the Rose Garden, the good, the bad, the weak, the strong, the pious, the impious, honest and kind. Gulistan conveys such a deep humane universal concept to remind everyone of the love and peace in everyday life. The lines below are engraved at the entrance of the United Nations:

Human beings are members of a whole, In creation of one essence and soul. If one member is afflicted with pain, Other members uneasy will remain. If you have no sympathy for human pain, The name of human you cannot retain.
